Rare Bottlenose dolphins, harbour porpoises and grey seals can be seen all along the coast and boat trips and sea fishing are available at New Quay, Aberaeron and Tenby.
Red Kites and Buzzards breed locally and Choughs are often seen on the sea cliffs. More birding info.
Cilgerran Wildlife Centre has a huge variety of flora and fauna and is a very informative day out.
There is an abundance of wildlife to be found on and around the local rivers.
At Blaenfforest we have many species of small birds and mammals. We also have more than one variety of bat, as one of our visitors was kind enough to show us.
